Recently Youtube added special linktypes for shorts video's


So far the forum does not recognize these and fails to make a preview.

Please fix this

Yeah, it is getting used more often, so YT created a new linktype for this.

Ive had some that work so there must be a way to make different link for them.

It used to work before, but now they changed it. I think you can still trick the forum by using the old link type and add the video ID.
But if you do this in the browser first, you are redirected to the new type (that is not recognized)

Looking at how kupoakupoa posts his shorts there seems to be an ever shorter url that still works for them.

It should, but YT uses this /shorts/ link now.
