I have the Osmo 3 to use along with my iphone 8 plus. I have just recently been bought the Zoom iQ7 to use for improved sound whilst recording videos.However when I mate the microphone through the lightning connector to get it balanced up it it rubs against the upright arm of the Osmo 3. I can see that on the opposite side of the arm there is a screw thread which I assume is to screw some type of small arm in to add a counterweight.Does anyone know of such an item that is available-bearing in mind that I live in South Africa, or is there a self fix option available?

Hello there Neil McAllister. I am sorry for the trouble this has casued and thank you for reaching out. Since this accessory for the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is a 3rd party accessory. I hope that our fellow DJI members who owns the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 and uses the  Zoom iQ7 can give out the best recommendation and information with regards to this matter. Just a reminder that DJI does not recommend you to your 3rd party accessories on your DJI gimbal. These 3rd party accessories might affect the said DJI gimbal when in use and there is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able work. However, since it's not optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might damage and void the warranty of the said DJI product. Hello, there. We are sorry for any inconvenience. The compatible weight of Osmo Mobile3 is 200 +/- 30g.  You can see the picture below

We do not recommend such a combination attach to it.
According to the data we search on the internet,  Zoom iQ7  has 30.5g, and iPhone 8 Plus is 202g.
30.5g+202g= 232.5g   It is slightly weightier than our recommended weight.
The screw hole is M3x 0.5.
Could you please consult our support through email or search for compatible counterweights?

Thank you for that information on maximum load weights for the three model.Of course if I follow that recommendation the microphone bought for my birthday by my wife will be useless.
