Got lost in a cornfield, forgot the batteries, crashed his drone. Maybe I don't trust his judgement ;-)

Mini 3 Pro for me.   . Unless we change the 250g rule to match EASA.

Very interesting video DA.

I'm about burned out on watching videos on Mavic 3 so I'm getting the scuba tanks out and go make some bubbles to clear my head.

Lol.  I’m not surprised DT. Enjoy the diving.

Thanks DA.  Had a nice peaceful dive.  Water was a bit cooler than I anticipated but was calming to see all the sea life.  Had a few sand sharks checking me out but then they just swam off.

Sounds very nice.    When did you check the boat last.

It was a very relaxing dive.  Haven't been back to dive on a sunken boat lately.  Looking at a trip down to a site in southern Florida known for several old Spanish sailing ship wrecks.

I’d imagine real sunken boats must be the best to dive.

No. I am not buying it. I feel it is a mess of a drone. A completely unfocused product. High specs on one side, the terrible DJI Fly App on the other. A good Main camera and a second completely useless other, which drives only the complexity and prices up. There should have been just one camera, maybe with a small zoom or one with interchangeable lenses.

Then it should haven been designed right from the Get-go so the existing Smartcontroller can work with it. What a fail. Crystal Sky was an expensive but not a very future proof exercise. So was the Smartcontroller V1 it seems. And now, DJI, you seriously expect me to shell out so much money for something you will make obsolete again in 2-3 years. Sorry. But no.

I keep seeing the second camera is advertised for looking and scouting locations not as a camera for photography or filming.  Seems a bit of a waste to me.

Very interesting to dive on.  Amazing what you can find in and around them.  The key is to be extremely careful as some of those old carcasses could collapse in on you at anytime.

I presume you dont go inside the wrecks when you dive?    ScubaAnn showed me a clip of her diving a plane in a quary and that looked cool.

Some wrecks I go in but I surveil them quite closer before entering.  Others are just too unsafe.  Several divers in South Florida have become trapped inside a wreck and couldn't get out before they ran out of air.

I have checked out a crashed Cessna on the Gulf of Mexico side of Florida.  It was laying inverted on the ocean floor at about 95 feet down.  It must have been not to old of a wreck as the marine life hadn't take over yet.

That sounds very cool. But I’d be concerned about sharks and getting trapped too much.

Sorry, I have received a few nasty and threatening PMs so I try to be a bit more careful what I put out in the forum.  My method of taking care of sharks might not be the most humane way but it sure works great for me.

We just found out that we now have sharks breeding in the Thames as far up as London.

The river really seems to have been cleaned up,  during the last survey in 1957 the thames was declared void of life.

It came as a surprise. 50 years ago they declared the Thames void of life it was that dirty.

Void of life...yet, the sharks somehow adapted.  Goes to show you that anything is still possible.

It’s a testament to how well the Thames has been cleaned up over the years,  we don’t have as much power station waste or sewage being discharged like before.

Well before the clean-up efforts that must have been a smell, nasty river.  Great to hear that is has been cleaned up so well.  Hopefully, future pollution will be very minimal.

Not sure how long its been there but theres now a sandy beach on the south bank.   People often make sand sculptures there.

I don't know yet. I am totally satisfied with M2P, use it only as hobbyist. One thing I miss Cx classfication,. After 01.01.2023 (EU) I could use only in A3 category. If Mavic 3 would get C2 class, I probably would go for it, otherway  will stay with M2P.

we step in same shoes (Hungarian saying). I really love M2P and in my opinion M3 is simply overpriced, moreover without Cx label gives only restricted use and possibilities.
