Buxton is a Spa town in Derbyshire, England.  The Crescent was completed in 1789 - around the time of the French Revolution.Although a Grade 1 Listed building, it has been extensively restored and, in 2020, re-opened as a luxury 5-star Spa Hotel.

Oh! No. It was designed and constructed by British architect John Carr, of  York. In the style of the Royal Crescent in Bath (built a decade earlier) - but on a grander and more complex scale.

This morning I've ordered the Wifi base for the Pocket 2 so that I can control it "hands free" from my phone by Bluetooth.

Another cracking motion lapse.   How long did that take to record?

Morning David. Thanks.  I do ten-minute slots at 1 FPS. giving a 20 second clip. But I had to edit out the first few seconds because of people excercising their dog directly in shot. And that was my second attempt after the first one being ruined for the same reason. It might have been third time lucky but I was losing patience ( And the bus was due )

No, it doesn't. But it has a flat base, which does improve stability a little. It would need a flat surface to stand it on though. Not as versatile as the tripod.

Just looking at the Mavic 3. I can't justify that level of investment =particularly with the ever-more-draconian flight regulations being foisted upon us.
