Can someone please help me to better understand this damn DJI fly app because every time I go to the downloaded file & attempt to install it, it says, "can't access this file" or can't be installed on this device!" I have just purchased a DJI Mini SE & have been trying to get this thing in the air for over 3 hours now but to no avail. It's very frustrating after the amount of money I've spent on this thing & can't get any answers on anything. Can I not fly out without the app?

I wish DJI would stop leaking pre-release marketing BS as they did in leaking the "Waypoints 3.0" feature promised for Mavic 3.   At least I'm hearing about their plan to kill the feature now while still within my 14-day return window...  The M3 is an impressive product, but for those of us accustomed to using autonomous flight capabilities from the M1 and M2, the lack of waypoints is a deal killer.

The removal waypoints was a dealbreaker for me.  The Mavic 3 in its current form, and even foreseeable future form, is a dud IMHO.

Good afternoon everyone.  I have  purchased a Mavic 3 Cine and upgraded to the latest version of firmware - V01.00.0400.  Flights today were plagued with constant disconnects between the RC-PRO and the aircraft..  The only thing which seemed to make a difference was changing from dual channel to 5Ghz.  Flights were made over a variety of different areas from suburban to remote farmland so it was not the environment.  I completed a re-bind - no difference.

I have forwarded and email to support but putting this out there into the forums for shared experiences ? I have owned Mavic Pro, Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 3 Cine along with my Inspire 2.  I have never had this level of disconnect - has anyone had similar experiences ?

I saw a linear increase in the drone capabilities/performance, but a none-linear pricing strategy. What made DJI to price it more than double the Air 2S, which has very close performance(in imagining)? This price point ($2999) is certainly out of question for me, an enthusiast with a budget that already considered more than many of my peers. This is closer to professional pricing rather than recreational market pricing...

Can't wait to try one of these out!

Check the radio interference indicator when you fly in that area again. Someone could be using a powerful wireless booster. The Ocusync 3 transmission system is the best DJI has come up with.

So would this be the same throughout the video or the drone moving at speed?

Has anyone worked out how to hand catch/land the Mavic 3? It's not possible to disable the downward facing sensors so each time you try to catch it it will move away.

My dji go 4 can't open, any bug from aplication. Please help

I expect you shall find it is diffraction of light around the drone, and falls where the drone shadow is. I have also seen it often from aircraft in flight.

I have also experienced this - long distance visual line of sight flights possible but if there is the slightest obstacle in the way I can't get more than 800 m away. Am operating in a remote area with no obvious interference.

is there any possibility to work in dlog while having a more contrasty image on the remote. I'd lve to work in Dlog as i always did with my P4Ps, but the Picture on the Controller is so flat that its hard to determine sharpness / center object and so on.

A supplementary video mode to the Explorer mode as an option would be good. Air 2S can smoothly do x1 to x8 zoom which can be very nice and useful. Mavic 3 jumps from x4 to x7 with a gap which is fine for “exploring” but can be ‘messy’ otherwise. I realise the x8 would be purely digital so quality would be sacrificed but still useful and I imagine it would be just as good as the Air 2S result and possibly better?
Possibly a menu option like this?
1. Camera 1 only
2. Camera 2 only
3. Use both cameras
So selection one would allow x1 to x8, selection two would allow x7 to x28 and selection three would be the current operation.

Saw a video of a guy who flew his Mavic 3 18 miles round trip and he launched and hand caught it. But it was fairly dark so I imagine the obstacle avoidance was switched off.

Thank's for the link! I've also read that you cannot retroactive change a non-compliant drone to a C class drone. So it is an open question still.

R/C disconnected is a huge issue. Complete loss of control of ac but ac stays locked on active track subject until low battery force land

I'm absolutely loving the Mavic 3 although it's very sensitive to minimal stick inputs but if you switch obstacle avoidance to brake it becomes a lot more docile and a lot smoother to stick input, have fun and fly safe everyone.

Good day to you, measured across widest parts of the controller the length is 150mm width is 103mm approximate maximum. but not no more than a few mm out due to some tapering of the unit.
