Most of it (almost all) was gone.
Not my favorite for sure, but I like our town in the background.

I'm giving it a lot of love, so it takes time.
But in the end, that will pay off (I hope at least).
Sikkens or Sigma. I like both, but this was the paint that our neighbours used, so I wanted to stay in the same colors.

I also started stripping the upper window, but that is scary with the precious 1931 glass.....
It is horribly painted, so I want to get off as much as I can but.....

Taking it slow.

And I have plans for refurbishing the old 1931 screws and hinges too.  
Bought some additions to the dremel tool to get the rust off and some old layers of paint.
When I'm done, it should be as good as new (I hope)

Probably yes.
But the hinges are custom, so it will be hard to get them fit and there is not enough wood for new screws (the old ones are very wide, so the holes are too)
All in all, I thought it would be nice to try and refurb them.

Yes we were lucky to have been able to invest in this right before C hit.
We were given a legacy that was designated to be used for a streaming service.
That was Jan 2019.
So at the end of 2019 it was installed and ready for what turned out to be 2 years of (almost) no real life services.

We had a couple like this, but luckily the rules regarding funerals were somewhat relaxed.

Been summoned b SHMBO'd to box in an RSJ and then plaster it.  so thats my morning gone,   but its done a scratch coat is on it.   I'll have to come back in a day or two and put the final coat on,   Its been very fiddly as its above a window and kitchen sink. and the walls are brick so have to be very careful not to get them dirty.

Short for Rolled Steel Joist.  We put them above doors/windows to take the load of the walls or roof above.
