Gordons bay Main Beach has a number of shallow swimming spots, which are fantastic for families with little ones that aren’t quite ready to brave the waves. And, even then, the waves are relatively small, thanks to the reefs and the surrounding mountains, which protect the bay. The white sands are warm and inviting for sun-tanning or beach games, and there is also a brick walkway that is perfect for lazy strolls, energetic runs, or exploring the area. The walkway leads all the way to Bikini Beach, so visitors can get the best of both.
The reef here means that the Main Beach in Gordon’s Bay is a great spot from which to go snorkelling or, for those that are qualified, SCUBA diving.
Bikini beach - Situated on the Whale Coast in the little coastal village of Gordon's Bay, the family friendly Bikini Beach is one of Cape Town's six Blue Flag Beaches, indicating a high level of water quality, facilities, cleanliness and safety
Although this man-made beach is small, it is sheltered by the harbour wall, which is close by. It offers ideal snorkelling opportunities
Yep! Scandalous! But they are coming out in droves lateley.
Youshould see the traffic jams along Clarence drive and the lay bys are jammed full of people just getting out and crowding together

It is summer here (summer the time anyway) We had a few days in the high 20degreesC but it is still a tad variable. End November we will get really hot in the mid to upper 30degrees with berg wind conditions (south easter blowing over the arrid karoo toward the sea) sometimes reaching 40+degrees when your arms get stuck to the desk while working.

Sounds great. We’re down to between 2c and 10c here now.

Um? on what? The spark? no
the pocket2 yes and it works quite well although I have probably set it a tad slow on the pan. The zoom I set to fast because I dont particularly like to zoom while I film. I preferto stop, zoom restart whereeverpossible.

On the mini2 Yes, but this was taken with the spark.
With the mini2 I am currently not even using the sticks and find that I get smoother results.
The clips I am posting currently are relatively old though
