This was fun to make.  I finally got certified for night flight and have been taking full advantage.  This is actually a practice run, I plan on driving into Los Angeles to do a proper city scape.  I have to say, hyperlapse is a great way to take an image and bring it to life.  There is so much to see here, yes there is a defined subject but what keeps me watching it over and over again is the small details.  Like the ability to track and follow some of these vehicles.  The air traffic, the people in the parking lot, the visibility etc.  I just love how this drone gives you this ability.  I did invest in the Mavic 3 Cine...  It just shipped and I am fairly excited to say the least.  Enjoy!

Interesting, do you use portrait mode for landscape and cityscape?  Possibly to reduce the contrast and soften the image?

Well, for the new youtube 'shorts' format and instagram too, a portrait video is pushed in their new player.
So it will gain more interest.
But with the Mavic Pro, the camera could rotate 90 degrees, so it was 4K but in portrait mode.
That was a super useful feature for making panorama's (since you only needed one row of images and still get good vertical resolution)
But it would also be great for youtube shorts.
Too bad they removed that feature in later drones (it could probably easily be implemented again, there is an axis on the gimbal that allows the camera to rotate)
But I guess not many saw the full potential.

I had no idea.

I have spent hours going through every single feature, except portrait mode.  I switched it to landscape because I was primarily shooting real estate and landscape.  I never once thought to put it in portrait.  It seems obvious now but I was assuming portrait mode would be similar to what you see in Lightroom profiles, that it works with the contrast, sharpness and maybe white balance.  I glazed over it, now I want to try it.  I had to re-edit that video in premier to format it for Reels and did not realize I could have recorded it that way.  Thank you for clarifying, that is bad ass, and I genuinely thing ignorance is the reason it has not been used as much.  

Trying it out today.
