That was a very nice sphere.

How high were you? I once flew over alps in Switzerland with a private airplane and we were +4000 meters. My ears hurt!

well difficult to say exactly. the mountain peak is around 2100m. i was hiking a bit higher and the drone at the moment of the shot perhaps was some 60 to 80 m. so i'd say around 2300m tops. But is really rough approximation.

thanks, yeah when there are no clouds(or just a few of them) and it is sunny without wind the Swiss Alps are the best. unfortunately this year this is such a rare occasion

Sounds like we’re sharing the weather.  It’s been miserable here more than it hadn’t.

Very nice sphere!, it reminded me a bit of being in France at Mount Blanc (Aguille du Midi) long ago....1985.
Much less snow in this picture, but I was on a ski trip!

well it is nice to visit, not to live. a bit too boring to my taste. But it depends also on where, in my opinion the italian part is the best, unfortunately work and money are in the german part...

well it started snowing so soon all will be covered. actually this is from couple of weeks ago, weather is crap most of the times so it is not for much hiking and droning. besides that they actually closed most cable cars in the mountains until december and the winter season, so going to the mountains is a bit tricky now....
