I just read that all non essential shops were to close. No more than 4 people visiting and working from home.   And then the breaking news added times to those rules.

Non essential shops have to close at 18:00
Essential ones at 20:00
Max visitors at home : 4
Work from home whenever possible
1.5m in- and outdoor
Horeca closes 20:00 you can have a takeaway location.
Events must be 'seated' and close at 18:00, some have exceptions.
No more than 1250persons per location (why would you have this rule....)
No supports at sportsclubs
Max 75 students per room.

Yes that’s what we saw reported here.   Seems daft to close stores early.  Surely better to limit occupancy and spread out the people over longer periods.

So all in all it is quite mild and not going to make much of a difference.
The outbreak management team advised a full lockdown, but they did not want to go that road.
The govenment is investigating the 2g policy (cured, vaccinated) so testing is no longer a reason to be allowed to enter some area's.

Hard to see the rules would make much difference. With the exception of stadiums.

The only reason I can think off is that they want to stop last minute shopping before going to a party (because they don't want to have youngers go to parties at night).
But other than that it seems counter productive.

Without knowing your culture that well it’s hard to judge. But if we applied those rules here i don’t think it would make a noticeable difference.

We have a thing where you check in at a venue.  Supposedly it’s for track and trace, so you can be notified if there is an outbreak.  Unfortunately though they never published any data to show what types of place are hot spots.

The vaccines are beginning to wane here. We’ve had a few family members to get it now.   And one that’s gone on holiday when they should still be in quarantine much to many’s frustration.

The rates in my local area per 100'000 are higher than NL and were doing nothing about it here.
