Yeah, occasionally I do get a bit of taste of it, as sometimes I stay out after 10 PM here in Finland and that's when the night silence rule takes effect. During that time in our high-rise, it is strongly recommended that the inhabitants avoid using the elevator... so I do sometimes climb them.

Yes, the noise isolation in this high-rise is not exactly great, so the use of the elevator and other sounds can be easily heard through the walls later in the evening. Luckily, the sounds it makes are not terribly loud or otherwise obnoxious, and also, the inhabitants here are mostly quite peaceful and quiet.

Yes, I think the general spirit among the inhabitants in this high-rise is mostly good. I am happy with that. :-)
