Is anyone using the DJI Fly app on an HTC 12+?

It's not on the official supported device list but then it's not on the DJI Mimo app supported list and Ive been using that for a few years now without problems.

The device is running Android 9 and is a powerful 64bit device, though it is a few years old

I've installed DJI Fly on the device and it starts no problem and I can navigate the app without crashes, however I have no aircraft yet so have nothing connected.

I am considering purchasing a Mini 2 but obviously don't want to spend that kind of money only to find that my phone is not compatible, so it would be great to hear from anyone running the app successfully with an aircraft.

Well, as there were no negative reports I went ahead and bought a Mini 2 and yesterday took my first flights...

I can report that the DJI Fly app (v1.5.1) seems to work without issues on my HTC U12+ running Android 9.

Hope someone finds this info useful at some point.
