It is as if it does not register the click and then it registers 2 (or 3 even)

I think 95% of the time I don't get them. But sometimes they just appear.

Sadly I cut it short due to the smoke,   about 3 miles away is a huge grass fire in a nature reserve and the smoke was horrible.

No I didn't think it was,   most of the places I walked were damp and soft under foot.

I really wonder.
Here it has been quite dry.
Almost no real rain for weeks  (just minor rainfall)\
Going to be a problem if the summer gets hot.

Theres not been much rain here for the last 2 weeks either,  but we have been having very heavy dew.

Damp all over.
But that does not replenish the groundwater level .

I noticed most of the ponds that dry out over the summer were back to full capacity on my walk yesterday,  but the marsh land was not a marsh yet.    I think that will be the last time I can take that route without the walking boots.

Here the ground is moist, but the ponds have a lower than usually.
