Yup.
I do the inside every 2 months or so.
Outside once or twice a year.

wow,   in the summer I do the outside at least twice a week,  and under the bonnet at least twice a month,   I should have done the engine today but I really wasn't in the mood.

The wash is the quick bit,   its the drying and polishing that takes me the time.   I just don't like I not being clean and tidy.

I like my paintjob to be finished more.

That’s just another excuse to clean it.  If you do it often you don’t have to wash it.  You can just use a detailing spray and microfibre cloth.  Especially if they are ceramic coated like mine are.  But if they are too dirty you can’t do that.

Lol.   Ceramic coating is not a 5 minute job.   Even in new paint the prep takes hours.

With the second car that we do t drive much over the winter I have a reminder to start it.  But now I’ve added a battery conditioner I need to change the schedule.

With the working from home for SHMBO'd and my temporary retirement we really dont need two,  but its a toy as much as a tool.

We did also keep the second car. Just because it will be more costly to get another one if she needs it again. But I should have taken it out of the tax registration, since she has (almost) not been driving it since early 2020

If we could do that ('let her retire') that would have been the first thing we would have done.
But her income is needed to be able to live in this house.
So things will have to change if that is the outcome of this process.
