"My' local beach has two landing spots apparently, some like to land having overflown the smart hotel (rooms from 500 euros per night) and others overfly the hotel with extensive grounds...You set up to film one way and they arrive at the other llanding zone, so hand held this time. I love the OP2, now I've spent time with it.

I wish! They were booked up all week, earliest day I could get was the day after I leave! I’d be very tempted to have lessons back in the UK. But all the kit costs way more than the latest Mavic 3

And we talk about drone security. Are these guys below 250 g to fly over crowds? I say: Let them do it but let us fly drones...

Interesting  point you make there, Depp. Many of them have GoPro type cameras attached. The tandem passengers carry a selfie stick with a camera attached too, so there could be a privacy issue.
Is the argument that this extreme sport (it is classed as that) is safer, because to fly legally like this, you have to achieved the Club Pilot certification and that is 10 days of training?  If you are attached to your wing, you are more likely to fly safely? I don’t know.

If the wind is too strong for a Mavic, am certain it’s too strong for me to suspend myself from a nylon sail with dyneema or whatever those lines are called…

Looks quite dangerous with all these people walking there.

Tried, but there are usually 4 slots per company per day (2 companies that I found offering flights) and booked up days ahead...tried on Monday, but booked up then until Friday morning...the coach taking me back to the airport is at 04:40hrs #TuiAreScrotes

hahaha.   I flew with TUI once,  not a TUI holiday just one of their planes and it was OK,   Better than EasyJet etc.

This one had 2/3 screaming toddlers, didn’t hear a word of the safety recordings…thank heavens for Air Pods Pro…..I like Ryan / EasyJet, you know what you’re getting from the get go…

Ive had some miserable flights with them mostly due to kids screaming and kicking,  hard to blame the air line for that.  TUI gave us a much better baggage allowance than the others but getting into Lanzarote we were a bit limited and TUI worked out OK.
