Appears to be a bit close.  

3 of these went by, could have been the same one mind, I was in a safe area too, nothing on NATS,  for my area but further on where they were heading too there is parachute jumping, it's actually a few miles fron me as the crow flies, it really doesn't help being surrounded by 3 of 4 RAF bases, and a major training ground that we cannot enter, EVER, all that area that's rarely used to be fair is out of bounds and on top of all that, it's frigging Norfolk, nothing to see, all flat, hence I do Churches mostly lol

I brought it down once i heard sommat on its way, then i took the photo with me phone

I have a little place next to our airport where I can legally fly 50' high (trees are higher than that) .... was thinking of getting a similar shot, just to hear the rule warriors howl  

Did you check flightrader24 to see if they were broadcasting.

Theres a notam for the area they are dropping, but no, i didn't check flightradar, i have 3 that i check before i fly, that's not one of them

C-17 in the UK.  Preparing for war.  I don't think they would really care about a drone that is super far away with an operator concerned about violating rules.  Even if you flew 400' away which seems quite far with LOS, for aerial issues to be right on your location, you would know and be able to maneuver in time unless you fly like 4 miles out every flight there's no need to worry.

If you want to fly w/o worrying too much get a DJI Mini 2.  It's super small and very hard to see even when you know it's there somewhere.  The chances of a collision even if everything was on it's location would be lower than using the P4.

I have the Mini 2 as well, the point of the post was nothing really, just that i saw 3 of these or the same 1, 3x, they were parachute dropping over Stanta of which is on my back door, i wasn't worried just surprised to see them as i didn't realise they were training today, is the USAF i think, at least 2 of the base next door to me are USAF
