Fixes certain issues, and optimizes overall app.
Usual as little information as possible, but hopefully it fixes certain issues. Maybe iso returning to auto all the time.

I hope this resolves the altitude and climbing bugs.   But alas no release notes again.

Yeah dji don’t seem to release any note. The pro remote doesn’t have an update I hope this is not going to be like other SC and Crystalsky with late updates all the time, after all it cost more than a combo Air2s.

Doesn't the Pro RC want to install the v1.5.1 Android app? I believe that got released yesterday.

No I just tried it, just saying App is up to date on 1.5.0. It’s typical with Remote Control always seems to be lagging behind when it comes to the App.

I have never used RC Pro. How does it update? Via cable to PC to DJI Assistant 2? I don't suppose it has its own Internet access...

It will connect to your home internet, app is supposed to update automatically there is no manual update. FW updates can be done through the app while using controller or you can connect to dji assistant. You can also update batteries and craft through app.

Just one thing I noticed when updating FW is all batteries require update. So after initial FW update for craft that battery will update with this. Then insert 2nd battery go to about in app and click on Check for FW updates and follow same with 3rd. The FW and Battery FW updated pretty quickly for me and I only used app Not Dji assistant for all updates.

Sorry just to be clear when setting up remote it will require you to insert internet details and it will automatically connect anytime you use it after initial setup

I was wondering about the iso bit. On my maiden flight, I noticed my exposure shifted as I climbed and rose to horizon. That answers that!

I may try another quick flight this afternoon to check, but I do believe I updated to 1.5.1 yesterday as I just checked and that was the firmware version I'm currently on.

Here's a novel idea, DJI, instead of bundling all drones into one Fly app, try separating them. One for the Mini 2, one for the air 2, air 2s, and one for the Mavic 3. You could add the appropriate designator to the app avatar/widget. Then you could concentrate on making the app the best for each different drone!!! Instead of cramming a bunch of garbage all together!!!

It is tested and it works fine. negative height is fixed.

Agreed. It's unusable for a professional video currently due to exposure shifts. I'll have an answer tonight. This was done in ProRes 5.1k 24fps.

Unfortunately that's not the way to deal with software. It causes you to end up with a horrendous mess of code where adding a new feature or fixing a bug needs to be done on each product separately, costing more time and money and hence product support gets dropped sooner than if you use the same code base for multiple products and just have it cope with multiple hardware versions.

Thanks for sharing DA.  Hopefully, it at least resolves the altitude bug but once again very, very scarce on details from DJI.

So using ISO I change to pro set my ISO and all other settings, turn off RC and back on and settings remain the same. I change to photo mode it shows a different ISO which is correct , change back to video and my last settings are still there including ISO. I then turn off RC and craft and back on and all settings are still there. I’m using pro remote but that problem seems to be fixed with ISO.

Would be nice if we could set a couple of buttons to favorite settings for both video and photo .
