My S20 Ultra 5G has the snapdragon. US. Android 11. No issues but I'll be holding off on any updates to Android 12 because of this.

I found this article on androidcentral about Samsung models from 2020 and 2021 getting Android 12

I was 2600ft away and 300+ ft up when I hit 20% in strong winds.  It was peacefuly quiet - no beeping remote, and then I realized I needed to head back ASAP.
I did NOT make it back to the LZ, but was frantically able to land safely within 300ft of LZ, fighting the "Forced Landing," and recover the Mini 2 after a quick walk...

I was thinking of buying a new s21 but im not sure i should. Why DJI cant you verify that the S21 software updates will work. The drone 550£ the phone 600£ and you cant fly. This is not acceptable. The s21 is also on your list of verified phones . I currently have the drone and no phone so cant fly or check if it works i might just return the drone back to you.

This was not a S21 specific issue. This was an Android 12 issue. The S21 involvement is just beacuase they seem to be the earliest phones to get updated to Android 12.

And also:  Why DJI cant you verify that the S21 software updates will work? Well, thats easy because until the S21 updates are available no-one can test them....... No-one can guarantee anything against future unknown upgrades.....


My S21 Ultra with Android 12 works great now.

December 1st,

Well, I just started FLY on my Pixel 6 and was prompted for an updated.
After the update the version is still 1.5.1 BUT the video is working

Hopefully GO4 and MIMO will be fixed too very soon.

i uninstalled the 1.5.1  I had previously  installed.... and re downloaded the new 1.5.1 (why they cant just rename it 1.5.2 )  anyway the newest release of 1.5.1  sub version 2025 official. now works with my pixel 6 pro .... Yipeeeeeee

took ages but they got there . now for go 4 to be fixed

Why does your S21 work ok now what have you done to make it work with DJI mini 2 ?

I had same issue with my S21 5G on Android 12 (worked perfect on Android 11). Removed DJI Fly and installed the latest 1.5.1 (2025) and video works fine again

Do your app works fine?
I can only usee it one time, after close it, i have to uninstall it again and start all over again because the app just crash on second opening!

Apps works fine for me so far. Not had crashing issues yet
