I have noticed two mounting holes on the bottom of RC Pro.
I have been wondering what accessories are they for?
Anybody knows/heard anything?

This is for attaching Lanyard, just go to Amazon and you’ll find plenty.

I thought about that, but I haven’t seen lanyards with screws, only with hooks/carabiners…

Good eye, didn't even notice those lol. They're fairly small holes. Can't imagine there is much since your hands being so close limits what can be attached there. Also interested in hearing about what they're intended for.

A lot of them come with screws kind of eye hook, but you should be able to get these on Amazon as well. Check out PGY TECH also.

I’m also surprised that all those ports on the bottom are not weather protected. I understand you’re not supposed to fly in the inclement weather, but dust is also a danger, and god knows it gets dusty here in SoCal, let alone in the Southwest…I hope some enterprising 3D party would soon come up with a cover under $3..$5...

Some people found with the Smart Controller that some attached lanyard/neckstrap solutions could damage the mounting points over time, so I'd be looking at the type that bridges between the two with a rigid plate like the GPC one...

That spreads the load, making sure the load on each threaded hole is pretty much only ever in tension.

How does this mounting of the strap help? If you let go, it would just fall straight down and not remain level to use...you would still have to hold the full weight of the transmitter in your hands...  my only gripe about the rc pro

Havent seen one for the RC Pro yet, but I had a mount like te following one for the Smart Controller.   It is actually perfectly balanced keeps the controller parallel to the ground when you let go.  My only gripe is that those bars go right next to the screen and the DJI GO4 and DJI FLY apps have unmovable icons on the edges that were very hard to select with the bar right next to the screen.

Mine came with a bracket that fit the controller.

The holes are the same.  I have a lanyard I first used with the SC now I use with the RCP.  They should be cross compatible.
