Both seem very dangerous to me.
But the kids love them (not our kids, we don't have them (yet)  but you see them every now and then)

The other thing I saw occasionally (in France) was a monocycle where you stand one foot either side of a driven 30cm wheel and zoom along. Very risky.

The ones I saw were like the pic below, folded up for easy transport.
The guy I bought my Mavic Pro Platinum from in Nantes had one. He demonstrated it to me and offered me a go. I declined as I didn't want to break my neck

This is WHITE !!   Tried a couple of panos from the car, on thew hills on the way home at dusk.  I'll download them and see how they turned out.
