Got my eye on a really good used one that I may purchase for my grandson.  The guy that has it just upgraded to a Mavic 3 and says he will sell his Air 2S soon.

I have the Mavic Zoom is the Air2s considered to be an upgrade to the Zoom?  I also understand the using the Air 2S with the smart controller does not use Ocusync 3.0 because the smart controller is only Ocusync 2.0

The Air2s has extra antennas so you may get a slight advantage with O2.  Depending on what features you want it could be an upgrade.   Sensor wise it’s bigger but no optical zoom.

Original controller that comes with the A2S is also O2. There is no controller on the market now that supports O3. Except the RC PPro, but it is not (yet) compatible with A2S.

Check the spec,  its been updated to support O3.

Thanks for answering I just purchased the Air 2S fly more with the standard remote as someone mentioned that with SC I would not be able to fly using O3 because the SC only uses O2...

Do you know if the Ipad mini 4 works with the Air 2S because now I see that people are saying that it will not work and I should get the mini 5?

Maybe I should just return the one I got and just go with the Fly more with the Smart Controller

MavicZoom - I tried borrowing my daughter's ipad mini 4 and constantly get the "Mobile Device CPU Fully Loaded" error.  Apparently the device is underpowered for the DJI Fly app and some say the ipad mini 5 does much better.  Good news is that error only affects the app, so the controller still works when you see it, including RTH.  
It is a bit scary however because the app either freezes or lags terribly so you lose the view of what the camera sees.
