How to reset everything back to factory defaults?

At this point I'm very close to returning my M3C due to the pesky connection issue.
However, before doing that I would like to try a fully clean slate, in hope that hardware is actually ok and this is some sort of misconfiguration that happened during the activation and initial handshake, which consequent firmware updates somehow could not overcome.
Can somebody please advise on how to perform such a reset? Ideally I would like to reset controller, aircraft and all batteries, but in a pinch just controller and aircraft should do.

You need to go to dji.com. Download dji assistant latest version. Make sure it has downloaded SW for Mavic 3 and pro remote. From there the process is explained for full reset and complete Firmware refresh. Its pretty simple once you have downloaded all above. Its available for Windows and Mac.

I do have latest Assistant 2. And I did forced firmware refresh already. However, I did not see a reset option. Is it something I missed?

Have you done it on both Craft and remote, that is the same as Factory reset because it just gets rid of all FW and renews. If you done this and its still the same I think the problem is on the Remote . Just a pity you don’t have a standard Remote to check.

All I can say signal for me is perfect, yesterday I had it out 4Km with no signal problems .

There was an app update yesterday, this will show in your settings if you turn on remote go to about and check app  it should be 1.5.1

That’s the problem with assistant, there is very little on it and full factory reset may not be on it yet.

Just checked, DJI Fly is 1.5.1, and yes transmission is on auto.

Ok, I did another relink,  checked transmission, all seems normal.
However, I'm still getting connection error, and, this is new, a sensor error.
I think I'm done with this unit. $(

That looks bad, I would contact support first see if they have RC in the US then return it and insist on getting replacement ASAP. Its a bit off a ... show.

Yup, that's what I'm going to do.
I never used them before and I heard some bad stories,
We'll see how it goes.

BTW, when I try to record a screen video by pressing BACK+VIDEO, the RC Pro makes a pleasant sound, but I don't see anything happening.
BACK+PHOTO takes screenshots fine.
I've seen people posting screen videos.
Is it something I am missing, or do they have a dev version, which we mere mortals still do not?

No, I did not. Tried now. We'll see if the problem persists.
Here's the procedure I found and used:

Linking the RC by pressing the C1, C2, record button and shutter button.
Power on the remote controller and the aircraft.
Press the C1 and C2 buttons on the back of the remote controller and the record button.
When the remote controller makes the following sound, “D-DD” press the shutter button.
The remote controller will beep quickly and display binding on the screen.  
Press the link button on the Mavic.
When the remote controller display displays ready to go and the indicator at the rear of the aircraft flashes slowly the remote controller has linked successfully. Please note, hold the C1, C2 and record button before pressing the shutter button.
The aircraft and remote controller should be within 2m of each other during linking.
If linking fails repeatedly please contact DJI support.

Aaaah... Got it, sorry. I didn't realize what it was.
Good to know!
Still, my original question stands.... The tips/intro clearly says that BACK+RECORD should start that capture. but in my experience it does not.

I'm bumping this thread because my M3 Cine and RC Pro have this issue. Updating the all firmware was a trial, but now I can't even calibrate the RC Pro or the M3, my connection is immediately lost.  No flight time on the M3 yet. So I'm about to go through the hoops required by Support with DJI Assistant and such and was wondering if any of you have any further suggestions.

Merry Christmas... I think.

Reset options
"Delete all data (delivery status)"
... so a reset to the factory settings ...

It flew smoothly on the first 2 batteries. There was a communication error on the third battery. Then when I put the first two other batteries, it didn't work. It kept giving the same error. Thanks.
