Todays job is to reseal the hall floor,   then I think I might take Mini2 to the local woods.   Once I do it Im locked out the house for a few hours.

I will do the final preparations for final painting. Some spots were not how I wanted, so I have to touch up.
Let that dry for some days before I will move on.

Its amazing how that first coat shows up the defects that you missed before that.

Well I just sealed the floor and went out for a walk and the post just got delivered so this afternoons job will be ungluing the post from the floor.

Well I got lucky.  The postman did push the mail through the letter box, just left it sticking out a bit. Enough to wake up the sensor to send the alert but not enough the mail fell through.   Phew.

I have 1.
A light sensitive switch for the light under our carport.
But I should have gotten a lightbulb that connects to my hub.
As that also has sunrise and sunset as triggers.

I do my sunrise and sunset lighting based of a calculation that changes each day,   I played with light sensors but in stormy weather things would come on too early and I didnt really want that.  My workshop lightening comes on when I open the door which is nice.   But if the alarm is set then the lights dont come on,   dont wont to help the burglars.

I tend to use the calculated time and then do an offset.  Indoors I like things to come on earlier than sunset but outdoors after sunset.   So each day around 1pm a schedule calculates sunset/sunrise times and applies various offsets for each device that gets triggered.

The outdoor lights can go on on the trigger time.
