Do you think we will get a drone that will lift this camera? hoping to get this and some of my e mount lenses in the air.

The DJI Matrice 600 pro would probably be able to lift it.

Is the mount the same? I know how DJI like to make their new cameras not work on older drones, like the inspire series.
I am hoping for a new inspire 3, 4 prop... Its got to happen!

Sony have the 4 prop airpeak that can lift the gremsy gimbal and a Sony a7r4 with heavy lenses, im sure the x9 is way lighter than that set up. im sure dji can compete . just dreaming you know

The matrice 300 also carries a full frame but just for mapping..
I had the s1000 to lift full frame but its just to big and loud for most city jobs. I would buy the matrice 300 if they allowed it to lift the x9

Yeah, I have seen that.
If I remember correctly it has quite a limited flight time.

I think the Inspire like system would be more convenient.

Yes but the sony a7r4 and gremsy I would say would be a lot heavier, DJI also have the drone and battery tech knowledge aswell. I would be happy with 20 mins flight with a full frame..

When I say a drone that can lift this camera, I meant to say the x9 not the 4d
