Furness Abbey is very much worth the visit with its extensive ruins of a mighty monastery that was founded in 1124. The lovely chapter house dates from the early 13th century.
Bow Bridge lies a bit further down from Furness and was build in the late middle ages.
Piel Castle from the 14th century was built for the abbot of Furness Abbey and is situated on a small island reached by boat.
Stott Park Bobbin Mill shows the fabrication of wooden bobbins for threads for the spinning and weaving industry. Visitors get great demonstrations of the works.
Sawley Abbey shows the remains of a Cistercian house of the mid 12th century.
Whalley Abbey Gatehouse is the outer gatehouse of a former Cistercian Abbey founded 1296.
Finally Goodshaw Chapel - which was closed and the keeper of the keys unavailable. The outwardly uninteresting chapel was built 1760 by Baptists.
DJI Mini 2, DJI FPV drone, DJI Osmo Pocket.
Last of the "in-depth" video of my September England journey.

Ah, yes.
They just finished a big restoration according to the custodian. I don't know if they leave the supports but I think it looks kinda cool.
At least better than letting it fall apart.
I like industrial stuff, but this is older and for me having it 'original' (like original material) would make it look better.
