Hi,
I've just bought a mavic 2 pro and I am disappointed with the camera. I use it with auto settings mode and everything that I record or photograph is way to bright. Has anybody else had this issue? I would've thought that auto settings would automatically adjust to the conditions. I shouldn't have to constantly adjust the settings manually before I fly.

Did you change the EV correction settings, perhaps?

With the right wheel? No, but I have to remember to drop the EV when I manually adjust the settings.

Are you using the right wheel to adjust the f stop?

No, I haven't touched the wheel, it doesn't have much of an effect. only 0.3 of an EV.

Yes but the effect isn't strong enough. Only 0.3 EV difference.

I just tried that out and it worked. Cheers! I thought it worked like the gimbal wheel.

Thanks for this tip that I was not aware of or have missed in the manual. I will try it next time I get the opportunity to fly again. So much easier.

No probs kyalami.    You can also set the 5d joystick to do shutter speed which can be useful.

Strange, so far I have not used the 5d joystick. That will be my next this to play with when spring is coming next year. Far to cold here now, no snow yet. May have a green Christmas this year. Thanks again Da.

No probs kyalami.   Dont forget the buttons on the bottom of the remote too,  I have mine to do =/-90 on the gimbal and the landing light on the other.

lol,    done here 30 miles from London its a very different world.   It just taken me 2.5 hours to drive 25 miles.

Yes I agree with you, its not easy at all these days, I just have a few places where I can fly and they are pretty boring places. One is a clearing in the middle of a forest. The other one is an empty field, but, it is used as frisby playground and is actually marked as a recreational area. I get a warning but press OK and can fly. Only mid summer there are people practising frisby, so I do not fly then. I basically just practise until I can go on holidays and then have to ask 3 different people if I can fly. One is the manager of an island in Maldives and then I have to send his OK to The Civil Aviation Authorities and then their OK reply to the Ministry of Defence and if OK then I can fly and film. It all takes a lot of planning and about 3-4 weeks all up. You really have to be very keen for this hobby. Sorry, a bit out of order for this thread.

Ive only been to Scotland once,   and that was to Edinburgh. I didnt really like it that much to be honest.  But the highlands do look glorious.  One day I'll get there.

Not at all,   I reckon flying in the Maldives is worth the hassle,  and besides you need something to do there.

That makes me feel better about the place then,   the one thing I did have there that I really enjoyed was a chicken breast stuffed with haggis,  wrapped in bacon with a whisky cream sauce.

But now when the drone has taken over and you can get views that I would never have been able to do and see. Hope I get approvals as there are so many water planes coming and landing all over the place all the time. Have been waiting 2 years for this no and I think that the 3rd Covid injections and the Covid pass will finally let me free.

How is it in UK now. I hope the lockdown is over. Austria and Germany is in for a big thing now I saw on CNN to night.

We have rates locally higher than countries in the EU that have lockdowns but our government doesn't appear to want to do anything even though on average of more than 50'000 people a year are still loosing to this virus.

That is just incredible sad to hear. It must cost an incredible amount on money and lost incomes to the country plus all the despair to families as well.  So sad.

They are also now reporting that 25% of the people here who get it,  are not following the rules about isolation which is only going to make things worse.
