Yes I agree with you, its not easy at all these days, I just have a few places where I can fly and they are pretty boring places. One is a clearing in the middle of a forest. The other one is an empty field, but, it is used as frisby playground and is actually marked as a recreational area. I get a warning but press OK and can fly. Only mid summer there are people practising frisby, so I do not fly then. I basically just practise until I can go on holidays and then have to ask 3 different people if I can fly. One is the manager of an island in Maldives and then I have to send his OK to The Civil Aviation Authorities and then their OK reply to the Ministry of Defence and if OK then I can fly and film. It all takes a lot of planning and about 3-4 weeks all up. You really have to be very keen for this hobby. Sorry, a bit out of order for this thread.
Not at all, I reckon flying in the Maldives is worth the hassle, and besides you need something to do there. |
