I love a bit of snow.   If it comes I will be spending as much time in it as possible,   the MIL's painting will have to wait.

Same here.  Love to see snow just don't want to have to get out and shovel the driveway and sidewalk or drive in it.  Hence, why I moved to Florida.

I am very much (for 2 weeks, and then back to 15 degrees )

Thanks Depp,   Yes that was February this year,   we have more forecast for the end of the week,  so Im crossing my fingers for that.

Its a large property,   we started outside on the fences/summerhouse etc.  then did the porch and cladding,  followed by all the windows and doors.  We moved inside and decorated the hall,  then finished the utility room (which involved some plaster boarding and plastering,  new electrics, tiling, grouting, new cupboards ) and now we doing the kitchen.   I call it painting here but its a lot more than that,  Ive changed all the sockets,  put up all new outside lights,  refinished the tiled floors.  Today was second coat on the walls and ceiling in the kitchen followed by a deep clean of all the cupboards.    Once the kitchen is done theres a little bit in the dining room and were done for now.

Yes. That’s the plan.  MIL doesn’t want it done.  But then she sees the result and is very happy.  Oddly it’s very hard to have some one else clean and decorate for you. Even if you redo the same colours.   Not sure I want to get that old

We usually miss the snow at Christmas,   get a few weeks before or after,   I dont recall ever having an actual white Christmas,   but I do love the snow.

Seems there are no real discounts, other than some (quite expensive) box with the P2 and some acc.
