Filmed with DJI Gimbal and my new Sony A7S III

There was quite a bit of flickering.
What framerate did you use?

Thank you! I used 60 fps. Maybe 50 is more suitable!

It probably has less flickering if you are in 'PAL' area.

When I switch it to Pal, it will not let me film in 60fps anymore. So 50 fps must be the key.

That is the whole point of PAL.
It is 50 or 25 fps, so it does not interfere with the frequency of the grid (electricity).

Thanks for showing me the difference! My next few Christmas walks (Cologne 2, Dortmund, Dusseldorf. Aachen) were already filmed in 60 fps. But the ones afterwards will be in 50.

No problem.
PS, this is only an issue when there is artificial lighting in the frame (of course).

Thank you! Another question. I can observe that some lights from some stalls are not flickering at all, will they still behave the same when filmed in 50 fps?

You're welcome.
They will probably NOT flicker too at 50fps.
