Hello,

Can anybody help identify the meaning of this icon (identified as "2" on the picture)? It is not shown anywhere in the manual. Since the one identified as "1" is for forward and backward vision system, I guess the one identified as "2" is for up and down vision system? Since there is no up vision on the Mavic Air 2 this sounds strange...

I own an Air 2S which does have upward facing sensors and was wondering the same thing. Did you ever get an answer to your question?

This is really bad by DJI not answering you, as the icon is not described in the manual and you have asked for an explanation. However, I am quite sure it means the downwards sensor, but being red could it mean not on and not working, as I feel green should be that it is working???

You are correct. This screen is for the sensors.  Air 2S

He has a Air 2 not Air 2S. They are different.

As Mobilehomer mention, it is not shown in Air 2 manual but shown in Air 2s manual. Also strange that the "Up" arrow is white, knowing there is no up vision on the Mavic Air 2.

Looks like the developers forgot to omit that particular icon for the A2 implementation of the Fly App.  Should be corrected in the next update.  I don't think it will affect anything by being there, unless it somehow interferes with the sensors it does have.
