Well, I joined the 'Crashed my Mavic 3' club this week. Luckily not too much damage, but I did do some reflection on what contributed to this crash and what things you may want to look out for to avoid doing the same.  So, in true navel-gazing fashion, here's what went wrong. Glad it was only a prop Ian, I noticed the stick sensitivity and the flying upward movement on my first couple of flights so switched APAS to brake until new firmware is out,  seems better for now, but thanks for heads up. I also looked for and noticed the absence of the rudder sensitivity settings..  We knew there were lots missing until January update, but I think most people thought it was mainly camera modes and settings, Dji need to hurry up with the update and fixes otherwise they will have a lot of returns...   Regards Mike.

You are so right on this Ian, This drone is super sensitive to the sticks. I got caught out a few times with this especially since I mostly fly off my deck so now I turn OA off and then take off and land. Thanks for the video, Good news that there is no major damage other than a prop.

I'm guessing you're running iOS?  It seems iOS has these adjustments..... Hopefully soon to Android...

I wonder would changes remain if done on an iOS device and then just switch over to android. I have both standard remote and smart controller I must try this using my iphone, might be a fix until sorted in android.

Explained very well Ian. Glad you had minimal damage. Strange that the EXP settings are there for IOS and not android. Could it be that Dji are leaning more and more towards encouraging users to only use ios in the future?

That’s a bit of a myth, Not true. All Smart controllers crystalsky and Cadence all use Android, its likely they are waiting for android to get all its baggage in line.

Only mavic 3, checked and advanced sensitivity settings not available yet. No reason why they shouldn’t come.

So true.  I've noticed all these as well.  Maybe things will change in Jan.  So we will see.  Glad yours is safe.

I adjusted my EXP settings with my iPhone 13 and then started using my Tripltek with Android and at least it seems the EXP settings remained. It still flies like it did after I made changes to the EXP using iOS.

Ive reset mine but cannot try out on pro remote because of bad weather. Its only a matter of time this is an option in android app version.

DJI Drones always work far better with IOS Devices

I heard about this too, so that should not be a problem then.

I think the first point is not true. See the comment that Niknik made.
I can't confirm this as a non M3 owner, but I heard it was present.

Android version of the app doesn't have the EXP settings (yet, hopefully...), and I've heard back from a subscriber using iOS that even after adjusting the EXP, the Mavic 3 is still very jumpy and lurches far more than you would expect.  It's all about being aware of this and getting used to it to avoid mishap...

I can't check, since I don't have the M3 (nor an Android device).
But I hope it will at least improve somewhat with a better curve.
