Is there some significance to that, perhaps?  A war memorial or cemetary on the island?   Most of the snow has gone from the village now, but it's still windy and cold.

Im not aware of the history of it,    cold here today 1c and bitter.  But at least its very quiet out there today.

It was -1 overnight here and I awoke to blue skies and no wind.  Ideal. But by the time I'd come fully awake and got myself sorted out, the skies had clouded over.  It's very still. I may have an excursion later.

We got battered all night by the wind,   although the car cover did stay on.   Still breezy this morning.  Just finished the second coat on the inside of the kitchen windows,   next job to clean up and then start on the dinning room.

Nope,    trying to get everything planned finished so we get the run up to Christmas off.

Worth the overtime then   I've been for a chilly walk through the Torrs.  Managed to get som SloMo of a robin on a branch. I'll see how it looks on the big screen later.

I do love robins.  But I find bird photography difficult.
