The curse of Boontjieskraal, The curse of the De Wets or in short the De Wet curse is a legend that has been revived in the vernacular since 1972 and takes place on the farm Boontjieskraal in the Caledon district, which would affect all the male heirs.
According to tradition, on a dark, cold and stormy night somewhere between 1885 and 1927, Pieter Daniel de Wet (Old Father) would refuse to offer shelter to a passer-by. Sometimes this traveler is a woman, a man, or an entire family. Sometimes there is even a child involved, other times not. Either way, because the overnight place was denied, and the family was forced to cross the Black River, there is someone drowning (the child, sometimes the mother and child). The single survivor then curses Old Father as the cause of his loss: each generation will yield only one son; and that boy will die a violent, unnatural death.
All of which has absolutely nothing to do with the cyclists of course.

Oh! Beware the sceptic. Doubt them at your peril. The Pendle Witches were real.

Spark was my first love (although I never bought one as it did not support 25fps)
My first posts here were about little sparky.
If only it had occusync2 it would have been the perfect drone for me. I found the wifi somewhat lacking for what I wanted, but still as a selfie drone it is wonderful.
