I have been looking into those as well, but so far I find the smart bulbs more appealing. Mainly because the ones they sell look awful. (at least in our interior)

The other option is to have a small device hidden behind the switch or light fitting.  Shelly make one thats quite popular here.  Its available in Europe,   https://shop.shelly.cloud/shelly-1-wifi-smart-home-automation#50

They are a European company,  delivery for me always takes a few extra days when Ive ordered.

Thats always a pain,  thats why I wrote my own so I can use anything with it.
