I am not 100% sure about the exact meaning - but generations lost in the struggle for freeing Bulgaria of the Ottoman empire

The problem is it's built during communist rejim and the whole visual is dictated by their paradigms and the second one - it's mostly abandoned, filthy and in ruins which is pity

It must have been impressive when first built. A shame to see it in decline and marked with grafitti.

We get a lot of that here, around many of the beauty spots in the countryside. Such a shame.
