In this video I address overheating, take a look at my preferred settings, how to transfer footage, and then I shut up for 6 mins of unedited footage shot straight from the camera!

Of course its still subject to YouTube compression (which can be quite hard) but switch quality to 4K before viewing! ;)

Towards the latter part of the ride I get a leaf stuck by the front wheel, and you can hear it hitting part of the wheel as it turned - pretty impressive for a single front facing mic....

Would be interested to hear others preferred, or most commonly used settings?

I typically use 4k 30fps + rocksteady for most of my footage and haven't had any heat issues.

I tested tonight and let it run as long as my power bank would power it and it still had some battery left before bed but the total was 313 minutes straight... and would've kept going if I let it.

Not sure why/how some can't get 15-20 minutes with the same settings.

Also this literally was sitting indoors in a single spot and no fan/air movement, so not realistic testing but still it worked fine.

It was warm to the touch but nothing that would cause a burn or even close.  I could've put my hand around the camera and held it without any real heat causing pain to my hands.  I was using the small rig cage on the screen combo.

Could it be the SmallRig cage helping with heat dissipation too?

I'm sure it doesn't hurt, that's for sure.  Either way, I was testing it how I would end up using it and for me it'll be great!
