There is little purpose.
But I think 75% of all YT video's (and even more of you include TikTok and Instagram) has little to no purpose other than to 'entertain'.
And judging by the amount of views some get, I think that is exactly what the majority of the viewers wants.

Impressive,  thats 200 grams more than the Mavic 2 pro.

The purpose is sometimes just plain Escapism, something we all should practice in moderation.

I am more interesting to fly the drone and take pictures and film than what it could lift and I think that most of us use the drone for this purpose.

As I mentioned is more intended to know if an accessory like a 360 camera will be handled without problem.

I know there are several videos circulating on drones dropping incendiary devices in Ukraine. From many of the videos with the zooms involved it seems they are using M3's (There's also footage of empty M3 DJI boxes left lying around over there)

Can you drop a meaningful explosive device weighing up to 750g?

It is quiet a significant amount to lift, I was quiet surprised.

Where is the overlay on the bottom of the video coming from that shows power, height, battery, speed etc?
