I'm thinking about mittens with top parts that can fold back. (since they keep hands warmer usually)
But I'm not sure if that is practical.

The Vallerret gloves have fingers that pop open,   the ones I bought though have something in the material so you can still use a touch screen.

I have a pair that also has this thing. But I find my fingers get cold quickly once they are separated.

Sounds like I made the right choice with the touch screen compatible gloves that dont do that.

Sorry, I mean 'separated' in a glove kind a way.
So separate fingers.
Instead of a mitten where they are in one big compartment.

I’d like a warmer workshop.    But some heating on but it’s not helping. Yesterday they were touchable after 20 mins and hard in a hour. Today after an hour they are still wet.

That is a thing indeed.
We have one radiator (hope that translates) in the shed and it is insulated, but still it is quite cold which makes the paint dry very slowly.
And the lack of sun (UV) light is not helping either.

That translates perfectly.  

I have a 3kw fan heater but I can’t really use it when painting as it circulates the air too much.  And with solvent based paints it’s a fire risk.

Just delivered the last shelves back only to find they had forgotten one.   So one more to go.

It is a one plate radiator, so a bit limited, but at least my tools don't get rusty now.
So I'm not complaining.
Just have to take my time when painting there in the winter.

I’d have a radiator if I had wall space.   My boiler is in there so it would be easy to add.   The boiler usually keeps everything above freezing but not really warm enough for this varnish.

It’s all stripped and sanded to 120 so I should be able to finish sanding and get a coat or two on today.  Luckily I hadn’t cleaned the spray gun yet.

That is an issue indeed.
Mine was already installed, so that was not an issue. The only downside is that I can't put anything big there....
But I really like it is there.

I don't blame you.  During the free trial I'm downloading as much music as I can to a HDD that is no longer used since I upgraded my PC and laptop to SSDs.
