Hi all,
had a flyaway recently where the remote just disconnected and the drone never returned back to home as it was flying over sea.
The drone was lost.
Following the creation of a flyaway case, the flight logs were synced and I also sent dji a video of the specific incident as recorded from the drone.
They came back to me asking to send them the MCDATfolder from my internal phone storage.
However, for some reason, this folder does not exist on my internal storage on my One Plus 6 phone.
DJI said that they cannot do anything since this information does not exist.  Is there anything that I can do at this stage in terms of finding these files on my phone?
Is this a normal phone that has happened to others?
If I can a paid replacement drone (which they have suggested), what's to say that this doesn't happen again?

Hi,

DJI changed the location of their folders on devices.

On Android > //android/data/dji.go.v5/files/Flightrecord/MCDatFlightRecords

Hope you can find the logs now.

In the Flightrecord you will find the txt files, if you like upload the log to > https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/
Post the uploaded link on here for help/advice.

have no idea, but some folders are 'hidden' so mayby you need another file explorer

Try finding the .txt file.

Upload the .txt file to that site, copy the link to the report it shows you, come back and post the link here.

1)  Connect your Android phone to a computer, use the computer file explorer.
or
2) Use Wifi file transfer app, this app shows all folders and contents.
