Interesting that he picked the Mini 2.  I don't disagree but before watching the video I was thinking he was going to go with Air 2S.  For its size the Mini 2 is a beast.

I guess it depends on how you do the pro/con list.  One big con on the air2 is the lack of a C sticker.

I would love to upgrade my M2P but as I’m in Europe the lack of a C mark will make it legally unusable in a years time for where I live.

Still it will (should) be about the mass of the whole thing, since you can't be sure the helium did not escape.

That's true for you in the UK.  Here, Air 2 does not have that restriction (yet).

Good plan.  That’s why I got the mini2, just to take advantage of the relaxed rules for it.

Not only is it great for travel but also quite capable little beast.  I wonder if there will be a Mini 3.

I think it’s DJI. I have monitoring on my internet that would sms me if something was iffy.

Yeah, I forgot about that high end internet you have set up.  Speaking of internet connections - Amazon Web Services just had that huge outage.  Lot of unhappy people that day.

One of the reviews just got the update and reviewed it. He’s put up a teaser for it which I posted. He says it’s released next week.

Ah that makes sense,  my amazon delivery finally arrived today. only a few days late so now have a new fast sd card in the controller.   Interestingly the last update has changed the settings part to not be available for now so its just photo storage again.  Which is actually want I wanted.

That's good news.  Sounds like the weather cooperated for a change, or at least long enough to get a flight in to test the new SD card.

Yes,  actually got two flights in yesterday,   although the second was so grey and miserable and then it rained.

Yes,   made another mistake on the first flight,  I orientated the antennas the same as I would on the M2P controller,  but these have to be below the controller not above,  soon remembered that one.
