Working with a Protek 35 drone with the DJI CADDX Vista component.   All firmware up to date.  I'm a total newbee.
1) Green lights on drone and DJI radio but no response when moving the controls, including moving both sticks down and in.
  
2)  First time I tried Betaflight it connected just fine.  Now, it gives me a Serial Port failed to open error.   Since it did work, I assume I don't have a driver problem.  When I plug in the USB I do not get the beeps Windows does when it recognizes  a new USB connection.  I suspect a wire is loose on the board.  I've tried different USB ports, different cables, rebooting.   Link between DJI radio and drone shows green.   The first time I used Betaflight, I didn't disconect properly, just pulled the power on the drone, could that have messed up something?    I pulled the power because the drone started beeping,  I don't know why it was beeping,  I thought perhaps the battery was low.   I'm a total newbie to this so it's probably something dumb.
