Probably solved vps issues on P3P.

Here is how i did it, of course with help of many friends !



I use P3P mainly inside, so VPS must be working reliable at all times.

My unit was delivered with FW 1.19 , and functioned very well until................. upgrade 1.26 came along.
No flying for me anymore. The unit behaved very unresponsive and went up/down by a ghost without touching a thing.
Turning off VPS, as DJI suggests, is no option for me cause i cannot fly inside annymore.

So suddenly I saw this thread:

The file from Robrogkr works like a charm . It allows you to go back to previous version and probably beyond !

First i downgraded my P3P to version 1.19, amazingly it worked out of the box, i was able to fly inside again .

Next i did some tests with V1.26, cause i suspected that the firmware was ok, but the upgrade proces fails.

When i upgraded v1.26 over 1.19, it was mayhem again. Unresponsive and very unreliable.

Above you can see this behaviour. Up and down without touching a thing .
I needed to run, to catch the Phantom wich was drifting away rappidly.

I'm sure you will be upgrading again very soon....

However when I use the file in the above thread ( post # 188 gives download), for cleaning up the Phantom  and directly install  V1.26 (so without installing v1.19) , a small wonder appears.

Suddenly you will have a fully working flyable version (I used the new sdk version of v1.26) , look @ this ->

Thats some flying again, however its outside with vps system on as well.

And again i was amazed of the result without GPS, and only VPS on. It's rocksteady !

Hello, what do you mean SDK version of 1.2.6? Where did you get it?

The abnormal compass is due to the fact that the unit is placed directly beside my PC, when i took the film.

To my observation, it's not the software that's faulty , but the upgrade proces is !
Problem is that the log files, show no difference between install after cleaning or install over v1.19.

This phenomena is reproducible, so you can go back to v1.19 (first use MVOM0Fw.bin file), then upgrade to v1.26 . The problems will be back now and it's mayhem again.

I like to know, if your experience is the same, when you use this very simple downgrade upgrade thing, wich i did.

Please be aware that this MVOM0Fw.bin file is not an official file from DJI, so everything you do is at your own responsebility and risk !

Would be nice to have some reliable feedback, so video is very welcome.

I personally only tested P3P .

You can fly with Litchi if it's inside. (third party apps)
Don't actually know where i got it from . (probably from Litchi site i think)

But the normal v1.26 (last update for P3P) , must work also.
