It´s possible to turn on the Mini 2 with only external power?
I want to explore the app functions but without burning precious battery cicles.

DJI could provide an way to connect with the aircraft or use only the app to store the settings prior flight, without the use of batteries...
Maybe you could create an "GPU Mode" (Ground power unit) that would prevent the engines to power and the aircraft to fly. But allow every other setting to be usable.

Maybe you could also give the user the ability to disable GPS and Video transmitter to keep the aircraft at low temperature and at this mode for more time, if they are not testing those systems. But the aircraft system would still be powered on and you will be able to set maximum altitute, RTH altitude, maximum aircraft distance, etc.
