Is there a fix on the way for the fly app on android 12. I would really like to avoid losing any more business due to grounded drone. The app crashes. Aloft had it fixed in days. DJI with a lot more resources is floundering, I dont understand. The mimo app is also broken. Please allow me to use the thousands in equipment that is currently unuseable.

May we please know what is the model of the mobile device that you are using please and kindly please try to uninstall and reinstall the DJI Fly application ( https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly ) from this DJI Link to see if the issue will still persist? In addition, kindly please sync all of your flight records before uninstalling the DJI Fly application on your mobile device for you not to loose your previous flight information. Thank you.

The fly apk is not compatible with android 12 update that samsung has released and will not open to install/reinstall. Same with the mimo apk. So that fact makes it impossible to reinstall. This is not a simple fix that limited troubleshooting will solve. These apps were working fine on Android 11.

Doesn't work. Wont even open the apk. Cmon DJI fix this please. 2 jobs cancelled so far. PLEASE FIX YOUR APPS so I can work!!!!!!
Autels apps are working fine.....

Sorry to hear that.  The latest version of the Fly App (1.5.1 Build 2025) is working just fine on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on Android 11 with a Snapdragon processor.  

The Mimo App is still not compatible with Android 12 but several Mods have indicated it is being worked on to make it compatible.  


UPDATE:  My Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is on Android 12 and not 11.  App works fine on my device with Android 12.

As that is the only available build im not sure how I wouldnt have tried it but ty for the suggestion....
The dji go 4 is also not working.
Everyone except DJI has updated the apps to work with android 12.
Ill use an alternative device in the meantime.

Its not there have been a couple of builds of 1.5.1 released.   Te 2025 build seemed to work for some.

Correction of a typo - My Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is on Android 12 and yes it does work with the Fly App but not with the Mimo App.

You're right.  1.5.1 2025 works on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra on Android 12 without issue.  Maybe his S21 has an Exynos processor and not the Snapdragon processor.

Maybe that could be the cause of it.

Which app do.I have to install for android 9 on Samsung Note 9?

Odd,   Usually the operating system hides those types of things through the HAL.

the new update today December 10th 2021 reined  mini 2 no camera black screen wtf dji now no camera  freeze  than black how long for this fix now

HAL is the Hardware Abstraction Layer,  its job is to hide the hardware from the software,  so when you make an API call that talks to the hardware you can make a generic call and it will convert that to what ever hardware is in the system.

It seems that when DJI updates the software it only effects Samsung devices with Exynos processors and not the ones with Snapdragon processors.  You'd think by now they would have figured out how to keep that from happening.  Sometime over a year ago there was an article stating that DJI was working with Samsung to resolve the issues with the Exynos processors/

I wonder if its a pure perforce think,  the snapdragon cpus can run much faster (with less cores) than the Exynos chips.

Theres a new build now for 1.5.4 so maybe another fix is in there.
