Yes they do. I'm not sure if I will hire one, since it is quite expensive and you need a good bit of practice before it will become something 'fun' I guess.

I’ve sailed across the channel in a 33ft yacht in gale 8 storms and it was quite the experience.

In Dutch you can use the same word. Although we have 2 and it probably is preferred to use the 2 instead of just one.

It was a lot of work to be sure,  and then we had issues with a container ships in the shipping lane that kept moving to intercept us and we tried to go behind it.   He always refused to answer his radio at the time.

We came back and the sea was a mill pond,  we got buzzed by the coast guard helicopter which was fun.   But we weren't challenged either side of the channel so smuggling would have been easy.

I bet the coastguard suspected you of trafficking illegal immigrants. That's becoming ever-more prevalent these days.

This was 15 years ago when it wasn’t such a problem.   I did end up in a lorry park by mistake one night driving back from Paris only to find a camp, I did hurry out of there.

I was due for the 22 January. But because of the outbreak here they’re pulling ahead and giving Pfizer as the booster.

They seem to finally have started boosting here too.
Luckily Pfizer mainly (since that seems to be most effective)
