Newbie to drones here... I just ordered an Air 2S and am eager to get it and start flying. In the meantime I'm learning all I can about the rules and regs. My question is about Remote ID broadcasting, which I understand the FAA recently made a requirement. Does the Air 2S have this, or do I need to add something to be in compliance with the rules?

There is no definitive answer yet. Some say DJI can enable it, but as the rules were just released it remains to be verified or denied!

There are no drones yet to support Remote ID,  so really dont worry about it.

Not to the specification that the US government requires, as that standard is not yet ratified.   The remote id that the DJI drones support is to work with their own product called Aeroscope.
