Theres a actually a pair of swans that are very close and this one seems to be hanging about "just in case"

Strange thing about that place is that they only give the high tide times,  they dont publish low tide times.   The rest of the coast you get both.

I suppose, if you were concerned, you could take the difference between the last and next hign tides, then divide by two to get the low-tide time?

I think its more related to how much rain there has been,   Ive seen it full at low tide times just bacause of the amount of rain.

Yes,  although it was really flowing fast the other day and we hadn't knowingly had that much rain,  or at least this end of the river hadn't.

I drove for a mile following a heavy truck through water more than 4 inches deep right across the road.  No risk of stalling the engine, it's a diesel. Slow and steady won through.

As long as a man hole cover did come off though,   you wouldn't want to find that hole.

Off to a good start DT,   two flights yesterday,   two trees pruned today and I cut the grass,  its about 50f so quite mild for a couple of days so no chance of a frost.

Nice to hear that the weather cooperated and you were able to get in a few flights.  

The port front motor on the M2P I bought used just had a motor seize up.  At least it happened seconds after I started up and had not taken off.  Strange as I just spun each motor before starting up.  Anyway, looking on line to find replacement parts so I can do a DIY repair.

Have you checked it of something falling inside it.   if not ebay usually has loads of parts.

I couldn't see anything inside and used compressed air to blow it out and nothing came out.  What is a bit baffling is all 4 motors turned freely before I started it and then out of the blue the one seized.  Now I'm a bit concerned if that will happen again to the other 3.  Wondering if the last owner flew it during the rain and that motor seize was due to long term corrosion.  

Anyway, I got the parts on order and will hope that no other motors seize.

Will you join the wires in the arm or do you have to completely strip it to solder them to the board.

Plan is to solder straight to the board for a better connection.  Found a few good videos so hope they are helpful.

So far, knock on wood so I don't jinx myself, I've never had an issue with ordering from them.  Replaced a couple of motors on my original Mini and worked well.

Ive ordered a few bits from them and shipping can be very slow.
