Would anyone here kindly provide step-by-step instructions for installing an external Google Play app on the RC Pro Controller for the Mavic 3 ... or point me to where I can find such instructions? Thanks much.

Search online for ‘APK Pure’ install that and then browse the APK pure website for the APK’s you need. No google Play required.
You can also visit the APK Pure website on a computer and download the APK's you want onto an SD card and install that into your RC Pro and then install from there.

On the other hand, if you do want Google Play installed, for instance if that's what you are used to, you could try these instructions..

Well, this tutorial is for the Smart Controller running Android 7.
It does not work on the RC Pro running Android 10.
I've also tried a newer Android Google installer for Xiaomi Devices but after having installed all Google Apps it always says Google Play Services have stopped.
So no chance to get the Google Play Store working at the moment.

Nor the YouTube app as it requires google play services. You can get to YouTube via the web however
