Hello , im new here .
I was wondering if its possible to shut off the engines during flight by pulling down on the left joystick ? I had a p2 now a I1 but never had the eggs to pull down full on the stick during flight for the amount of time to shut the engines down .

I apoligize if this has been a topic in the past

Full down on left stick will not shut it down during flight.

I guess it knows its height through the gps and has a failsafe but I wonder if flying in p-atti ?

dji tech just got back to me .only csc method will engines stop during flight

Left down and right, right down and left (among others but this is the common one).

CSC this -  \ /  or  / \ with the sticks

It is the stick movements you use to start your motors. The same stick movement will turn off your motors. It will also do it during flight. I wouldn't want to do it during flight as it might put undue stress on the motors/arms/props arms as it is falling. But if you decide to do it you better be more than 4 mistakes high, because once you restart your motors the effect won't be immediate. It will still take some time to counteract gravity before it stops falling.
