Upon start up, the Phantom does a self test, then begins flashing yellow and will not stop. I cannot perform any calibration tests as it seems that the radio isn't connecting at all. The Phantom Assistant program proves this further as it doesn't react to any controls that are used on the radio but, when using DJI's RC software, everything on the radio works and calibrates. The phantom wont arm, wont move, wont do anything other than flash yellow. What can I do to get this thing back in the air? Thanks in advance!

Try to rebind the controller to the Phantom. On the bottom of the quad you will see a small hole on the side where the compass cable comes out. It's about s inch away. Turn off the remote control. Turn on the quad (pros off) , push down the button in that hole and hold till it turns on. Then turn on the RC. You should hear a beep and that tells you the RC and the quad are now communicating and are bound. You can flip the quad over and see if the motors will start and stop ( Props still off)
Should be able to control her now.. The flashing yellow was indicating the transmitter signal was lost.

I have done this a few times and have just tried again, still with no results. The controller will not bind and the phantom still keeps flashing yellow.

More information: upon connecting to the assistant software, it shows that the channel monitors are maxed out constantly even though there is no controller on. Using the controller does not effect it.

EDIT: After replacing the receiver, I can successfully connect my remote. The issue now is that the copter is flashing red and will not let me start the motors.

I’m having a similar problem. The drone goes through the start up test and then the lights flash yellow fast. I know the light indicates no radio connection but I can control the gymble which should mean the radio is working. The drone has a futuba radio so I connected a servo to the output of the radio and indicates that all 8 channels are working correctly. The drone did have a u healthy landing before this problem. Help!

What exactly are you doing to control the gimbal?

Have you tried relinking the P2V to the controller?

There is a control on the transmitter to move it up and down

This drone has a futuba radio in it. When the drone is first turned on the link led o. The radio is red, then when I turn the transmitter on it goes green straight away, so that should mean that the radio connection is good
