This was just suggested for me on YouTube.  Not so sure I'd risk my aircraft in these conditions, but the results are pretty impressive!

Nope! Nice flying but I wouldn't risk my drone in that weather especially over water. Too much of a 'wuss' that's me.

Nice, I thought the landing swans was a nice touch or fortunate capture.
Where's it snowing like that in the UK?

I would not fly my drone in those conditions, but the results here are pretty good.

Could be, but there is a shot where there is snow accumulated on the top of the drone body l, so if it is an effect added in post then I was fooled.

I don't know where it was shot, I'm afraid, but certainly no snow like that around these parts!

Seems odd that no snow seems to hit the lens, until that last scene when he's wiping the lens with a finger and at that time the snow is not as heavy,  so im going with light to no snow and the majority added afterwards.  Eitherway it looks great.

Ain't a thing wrong with protecting your investment. Some people have money to blow, I personally like my things lol

The thing is with drones (and most electronics) is the water damage won't show now, or maybe the next 10 flights but sometime in the future it'll fry something, cause a short or whatever and you have a rock falling from 300 feet.

I've added snow in post and there is some definitely some sort of after-effects-ish going on.

I expect the guy knew the risks when he launched in those conditions. I like it nice and dry, with a little sun whenever possible

We benefited by this video from the flyer's efforts, I must agree that I would not do it.  Also to note that the birds on
the water did not seem to be bothered by the drone?

Hello there -N.O.T. Good day and thank you for posting this video here at DJI Forum. Just a reminder that the DJI Mini 2 has an Operating Temperature of 0° to 40°C ( 32° to 104°F ). Thank you and fly safe always.

Interesting concept.  However, we need to see what the long term effects are.  Moisture is not good for electronics or motor windings.

Nice shooting.

Personally I would take my drone out in hostile conditions. One day it will crash and no amount of coddling it will prevent that, use the thing it is sturdy. Definitely wipe it dry before storing though.

All of that being said, I could afford to replace it if the need arise, so I may be biased towards risk.

Beautiful footage @No Original Thought . Fair play for going out flying in those conditions. It's impressive to see the Mini 2 handling it with ease!

I can't take the credit as it's not my footage, I'm afraid... It was just recommended not me on YouTube so I thought I'd share here.

I agree that it's beautiful footage, though, although I wouldn't be risking my drone in those conditions personally. I'd worry abou the damp causiny corrosion and failure at a later date

Ah! My mistake. I have seen "wet suits" you can buy for your Mini 2 - like this one:

https://www.phantomrain.org/product-page/wet-suit-mavic-mini

Not sure I would risk it though!
